Though you know which one made me cry and I can't wait to see it out. Anyway, just dropped by to see what was on your mind.
DawnD L Jacksonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03005096541408308851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4773784813020798883.post-46177686957828890522009-06-26T22:14:37.994-07:002009-06-26T22:14:37.994-07:00Thanks so much for your comment, Caffey. I don't want my heroes dying on me.
In fact, in one of my conventional romances - ie not erotic - coming out this autumn - I feel obliged to write a follow up because one character is left unhappy. I won't say the name as it will spoil the plot but I think they deserve their own HEA
Thanks very much for reading my stories!Barbara Elsborghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15825994197656747262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4773784813020798883.post-65588178818443570682009-06-26T07:08:12.526-07:002009-06-26T07:08:12.526-07:00Hi Barbara! Its my first time visiting your blog after I had the joy of reading a couple of your books and so can't wait to read even more, including this one of POWER OF LOVE. What a perfect title for the blurb and all. I too love to read HEA's. I know some books that plan to be HEA but over several books or a couple. That's hard! Usually I wait til all the books are out so that I can read them together to the HEA! I think if its not going to have a HEA, then should not be labeled 'romance' since that's the outcome that expected. I don't read much outside of romance except for Urban Fantasy, Historical mysteries, some Fantasy and Historical Fiction - these are new to me genres that I really never tried to read til now, but have read them in romance books). But anyways, yep some that not labeled 'romance' do have a happily ever after ending and I love that surprise! I used to read some straight suspense, but got so bored because once I found some with a strong romance, I realized what I kept looking for in a romance book. The internet helped so much. I missed so many reads before the internet but I'm having fun catching up on some great recommendations still after a few years! I remember reading a book and it was a wonderful historical romance. And it was a trilogy. So I went to pick up the second book and it had the same hero name so I was confused. I started reading and realized the HEA from the other book, with the heroine, died! It was the first time I ever said 'no way am I reading this book'! I was devastated. I know these aren't real stories, but they are to me when I read them and if they label romance, I want it as that! Great post. Thanks for letting me chat and I'm looking forward to coming more! And too getting more of your books to read!
Have a great weekend.

cathiecaffey(at)gmail(dot)comCaffeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11830854922444380155noreply@blogger.com
