Finished a little short story that will go into an anthology with several of my writer friends. This is a do-it-ourselves venture that will be out soon. I started to write this story for the All Romance e books competition but it felt wrong so I stopped. Started another and that didn't work either - the third was the charm and it made it into the last 32 - voting starts in October!Came back to Dragon Race and liked it again, so turned into something I hope is readable.
Now I have no excuses about delaying work on my sci fi romance. Weather is crap, no pile of books to read - I can start right away - er, after coffee, after breakfast, after taking dog for a walk, ooh I need to vacuum, empty the dishwasher, send pics of the dog in the pool to husband... should be free to write about lunchtime - oh and darn it, kids need to use my computer so I'm going to have to wait a while before 'A New Life' gets going. (Temporary title - I have to call it something other than - this piece of crap)

I love the pic. Despite the long flight over an ocean, it must be cool to have Win racing across the pool in Florida.
The anthology has been such fun, and DR is another definite winner.
Sorry, but TPofC is a tittle that's already taken.
